Every fan of the show wants to know about the new investor coming in the next Indian season of Shark Tank. So, get to know more about all the 14 Shark Tank India judges we have seen till the 3rd season!

14 Shark Tank India Judges (as of 2024)

This popular business reality series became an instant hit when it came to India. The first season of Shark Tank India was released on SonyLiv and SET India on 20 December 2021.


It started with only 6 judges in the first season, but then 2 in the 2nd one, and a total of 6 new names in season 3. That’s make a total of 14. Let’s take a look at every investor or judge who has appeared in Shark Tank India:

1) Aman Gupta

Aman Gupta boAt

Aman Gupta is the co-founder and CMO of the boAt. The boAt is a homegrown consumer electronics brand that makes earphones, speakers, and wearables at an affordable price. He is one of the most favorite Sharks of Shark Tank India among fans.

This Delhi boy did his B.Com. from Delhi University and MBA from ISB Hyderabad. He also became CA in between all that. After gaining experience from working in Citi, KPMG, and HARMAN, he then pursued his entrepreneurial journey.

Things started in 2014 with Imagine Marketing, which then launched boAt in 2016, and you know the story afterward. He is known to be the marketing genius behind his company’s success.


He is one of the founding Shark Tank India judges from season 1.

2) Anupam Mittal

Anupam Mittal shaad.com

Anupam Mittal founded Shaadi.com in 1997 and currently, he is the CEO of the parent company: People Group. Shaadi.com is one of the most popular matrimonial websites in India and other South Asian countries.

He studied MBA from Boston College and worked as a product manager at MicroStrategy for a few years. Then he started Shaadi.com, which became a big success, and continued that with Makaan.com and Mauj Mobile.

He has also invested in many startups after that and is considered a successful angel investor. That’s why he is perceived as a serious judge in Shark Tank India from the first season.

3) Namita Thapar

Namita Thapar Emcure

Namita Thapar is an Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, where she manages the India business of the company.

She did her MBA from Fuqua School of Business and has a CA qualification as well. After working in the USA, she later joined her family business as CFO.


Namita is popular for being a friendly Shark in the show.

4) Ashneer Grover

Ashneer Grover BharatPe

Ashneer Grover is the co-founder of BharatPe, a payment service for Indian merchants. He was once the CEO and MD of the FinTech unicorn but later exited on some unfortunate terms.

Talking about his qualifications, he has done B. Tech. from IIT Delhi and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. Before starting BharatPe in 2018, he was also the CFO of Grofers and VP of Kotak Investment Banking.

Ashneer can be termed the “‘Most Popular Judge in Shark Tank India season 1’, known for his sharp opinions on pitches. However, he clearly stated that he would not return for any future installments of the show.

6) Peyush Bansal

Peyush Bansal Lenskart

Peyush is the co-founder and CEO of the eyewear company Lenskart. After earning his B.Tech from McGill University. Then, he returned to India and started SearchMyCampus.com, before founding Lenskart. He later launched John Jacobs & Neso Brands as well.


Peyush was also one of the first Indian Sharks, beginning in the first season.

06) Vineeta Singh

Vineeta Singh Sugar cosmetics

Vineeta is the co-founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics. SUGAR is a cosmetics makeup brand founded in 2015.

She is an intelligent mind from just her education, where he studied B.Tech. from IIT Madras and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. She was offered a 1-crore job but she opted to be an entrepreneur. Her first startup idea was a lingerie business, but that didn’t work.

After that, she started Quetzal Online and FAP-BAG, but she later found success with SUGAR. Now she is also a good investor with Shark Tank India from Day 01.

07) Ghazal Alagh

Ghazal Alagh MamaEarth

Ghazal Alagh is the co-founder of Honasa International, the parent company of MamaEarth. It is an FMCG brand that primarily makes skincare products, especially for millennials.

Ghazal co-founded this start-up with her husband Varun Alagh and currently serves as Chief Innovation Officer of the startup. She calls her the ‘Chief Mama’ of MamaEarth. Honasa later got listed on Stock Exchanges as well.


She was a guest shark in the premiere season, but like Ashneer, she left it after that.

08) Amit Jain

Amit Jain CarDekho

Amit Jain is the CEO and co-founder of CarDekho and GirnarSoft. CarDekho is an online Automobile service for car insurance and deals on cars. He is an IIT-Delhi Alumni, who left his job after seven years to start his startup journey.

Amit joined the Sharks panel in the second season on SonyLiv, and returning for 3rd season as well.

09) Varun Dua

Varun Dua ACKO

Varun Dua is the co-founder and Executive Director of ACKO, a digital insurance company based in Bengaluru. He pursued masters from MICA and then got into the world of insurance with TATA AIG and Franklin Templeton.

After all the experience, he founded GlitterBug Technologies and CoverFox, both in the same space. Then, he started ACKO in 2016 and served as the CEO for a long time.

Varun is one of 6 new sharks we will see in the 3rd season of Shark Tank India.

10) Ronnie Screwvala

Ronnie Screwvala

Rohinton “Ronnie” Screwvala is one of the most famous Indian entrepreneurs who founded UTV in 1990. This was a big success in his life, which he sold to Disney later on. After that, he became a serial investor.

Even before UTV, he started a toothbrush company, hosted a show on Doordarshan, and introduced Cable TV in the 80s. But he then wanted to produce his content in New India, where he produced films like Swades, Rang de Basanti, Jodhaa Akbar, etc.


After UTV, he began investing with Unilazer Ventures, where one prominent investment was upGrad in 2015 as a co-founder and chairperson. He is also into the Sports business with USports, where owns the Kabaddi team ‘U Mumba’.

Ronnie then again entered the media business by incorporating RSVP movies, with projects like URI, Lust Stories, Sam Bahadur, etc under it.

Having such a big name in season 3 uplifted the show to a whole new level.

11) Ritesh Agarwal

Ritesh Agarwal is the founder and CEO of OYO Hotels. He went to start a hotel accommodation startup, that became the biggest in India later. This too, was done only a few months after he passed from school.

OYO is now available in many more countries and Ritesh made his name as one of the most successful entrepreneurs from the country.

Ritesh made his debut in the 3rd season of Shark Tank India.

12) Radhika Gupta

Radhika Gupta Edelweiss

Radhika Gupta is the MD & CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund. She started her investment firm Forefront Capital Management in 2009, which was later acquired by Edelweiss in 2014.


She studied at The Wharton School & the University of Pennsylvania and gained more knowledge by working in McKinsey, and AQR Capital Management.

She will start her Shark Tank journey as the judge in season 3.

Deepinder Goyal Zomato

Deepinder Goyal is the Founder & CEO of Zomato. He is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and worked for Bain and Company consultancy for a couple of years.

The first idea was a restaurant listing portal as FoodieBay, which was then rebranded as Zomato. Zomato is now one of the most known startups in India in the food delivery space. It is now expanding in new countries and will be listed on stock exchanges in 2021.

Deepinder joined the show in the 3rd installment as a new judge.

He is one of the 6 new investors we will see on Shark Tank India.
