The entrepreneurs were looking to get an ₹60 Lakhs investment for 1.5% stakes in their startup. Their main aim is solidify their branding as an International South Indian snacks brand.
But the episode started with an interesting twist. Since Anupam was already an investor in it, he had to leave the tank for this specific pitch.
Look at this teaser for this pitch:
In FY2021-22, they did ₹1.2 Crores in sales. About 55% revenue comes from the coffee and the rest from snacks. Most of their customers comes from Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, where it is not easy to get such authentic flavour.
But the big concern for the sharks was a monthly burn of ₹25 lakhs. Aman was also not happy with their online strategy. That’s why Peyush went out. The only saviour was Namita, who is ready for a ₹19 Crore valuation.
VS Mani & Co closed the deal with Namita Thapar on Shark Tank India for ₹19 Lakhs for 1% Equity with rest in debt. After that, Anupam rejoined and advised them to talk about their future sales & vision in this pitch.
