Shark Tank India S2 Release Date & Time
Many have not expected it, but the first season of Indian Shark Tank became an instant after it aired in 2021-2022. And now we are back for the new episodes.
The second season of Shark Tank India will premiere on the SET India TV channel and SonyLiv streaming platform on 02 January 2023.
The release time will be 10 PM from Monday to Friday every week, both on TV and OTT service. The timings changed because another reality show, Masterchef India will be airing in the 9 PM time slot.

If you have watched the show, you know the basic concept. An entrepreneur (or a team of them) comes on the show to pitch their startup. They do it in front of a group of investors, known as sharks.
First, the pitcher explains his business model and asks for an investment in exchange for equity in the company. The sharks do cross-question to find out more about the product or service.
If one or more sharks like it, they offer a deal. The pitcher can then negotiate with them to finally accept the best deal for him/her.
There were about 35 episodes in the first season and now it is expected to be the same number of episodes this one. Also, to promote the show, the sharks will appear on Kaun Banega Crorepati in the final week of 2022.
New Judge & New Host in Season 2
There are many major changes on the judge’s panel for the second season.
There are 6 sharks on Shark Tank India season 02: Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, Anupam Mittal, Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, and Amit Jain. You can learn more about all Indian judges in Shark Tank India here.
Amit Jain is the new shark this time, replacing Ashneer. He is the entrepreneur behind CarDekho.com and InsuaranceDekho.com.
A big update is that Ashneer Grover will not be returning for the second season of Shark Tank India. Ashneer was the most popular out of all and he became an internet sensation after the premiere. His blunt criticism was loved and hated by many.
A fun fact here is that Ashneer was also approached to be on the Bigg Boss reality show.
It looks like the producers never approached him this time because of his outside controversies. Even Ashneer said that he was not interested in a return. Along with him, Ghazal Alagh will not be back this time. There is no specific reason given for her exit.
With the new year, we get a new host. Rahul Dua will be the host for the second season of Shark Tank India. He will be replacing Rannvijay Singha.
Rahul is a famous stand-up comedian who participated in the 1st season of Amazon Prime Video’s Comicstaan.
One more interesting fact for this season is that they have also hired the AIB team to write the additional content for the show. This writer’s team includes popular YouTuber Tanmay Bhat with Puneet Chadha, Deep Joshi, and Devaiah Bopanna.
