Loosely based on Steven Spielberg’s life, it is a beautiful story about filmmaking & family. The Fabelmans movie was released in India on 10 February 2023. Reliance Entertainment distributed the film, continuing its partnership with Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment.
3) The Banshees Of Insherin
Nominated in 8 categories, this film has the potential to be a big success at this year’s Oscars. This is a tragic comedy about the friendship of two men on an island. The Banshees Of Insherin is streaming in India on Disney+ Hotstar.
4) All Quiet on the Western Front
This is a German War film based on a 1929 novel. This is the second motion picture adaption of the story. All Quiet on the Western Front is streaming on Netflix worldwide. It only played majorly at Toronto International Film Festival before.
5) Elvis
One of the biggest contenders for Best Actor is Austin Butler for Elvis, the biography of rock and roll legend Mr. Presley. Elvis was released in Indian theatres on 24 June 2022 and now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. It got positive reviews from critics as well.
6) Everything Everywhere All at Once
With the highest number of accolades, this multiversal adventure won the hearts of many fans around the world. Everything Everywhere All at Once was screened in India on 16 September 2022. You can also rent it digitally from BookMyShow Stream.
7) Tar
This might be a must-watch because Cate Blanchett is most likely to get Best Actress Academy Award, for this psychological drama flick. Tar is scheduled to premiere in India on 10 March 2023.
8) Woman Talking
Based on a 2018’s novel about a tragic story that changed the life of many women in a remote community in Bolivia. While Woman Talking premiered in the USA on December 2022, there is still no information about its formal release in India.
9) Triangle of Sadness
Do you like black comedy, then this film is for you. The story is about a cruise trip of the super-rich that went wrong. Triangle of Sadness will release in India on 03 March 2023. It will be distributed by Impact Films.
10) Top Gun: Maverick
The highest-grossing picture of 2022, Top Gun Maverick was loved by all and became a successful sequel. Top Gun 2 was released on 27 May 2022 and broke many records. Now, Top Gun Maverick is streaming in India on Amazon Prime Video.
