Eternals Release Date in India
Marvel India has confirmed that Eternals release date in India is 05 November 2021, just one day after Diwali. So, Eternals will get a long holiday weekend release for the fans.
Keep in mind that it is an exclusive theatrical release, only to be watched on big screens first. Some scenes are shot at physical locations with great visual effects, so it’s best to experience them in a movie theatre.

The cast also includes many biggies like Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kit Harrington, Salma Hayek and Gemma Chan. Harish Patel as Karun is also a part of the movie, and will be the first Indian actor in MCU.
Also, after cinema halls reopened in Maharashtra and Kerala in late October, this is the first big Hollywood movie to have a wide-India release.
It is releasing in India on 05 November, the same release date as in the USA and its official international release.
However, the movie has got mixed reviews and one of the lowest Rotten Tomatoes scores for an MCU movie. Still, it had record-breaking advance ticket sales for the year 2021.
Note: from 1 November, some state governments have allowed 100% seat capacity in movie theatres.
You might see full Housefull shows after 2 years since March 2020. However, it will get stiff competition from Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi.
Watch it in 3D or not?
It will be available in (post-converted) 3D format also. Both 2D and 3D options will be available.
While the last MCU movie Shang-Chi was not released in 3D initially, the problem is now resolved between the studio and Indian theatres.
Eternals Hindi dubbing update

It will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam along with English.
Hollywood movies are usually dubbed in only 3 languages. So, dubbing it in now 6 local languages shows the increasing popularity of Marvel superheroes in the country.
Eternals in IMAX aspect ratio?
Some scenes in Eternals are also shot with IMAX-certified cameras. So YES! IMAX will be a premium format to experience this movie.
According to IMAX Melbourne, around 67 minutes are available in a 1.90:1 aspect ratio, and 7 minutes in a 1.43:1 aspect ratio for IMAX screens.
When will it release on OTT platform Hotstar?
As mentioned above, Eternals will have a theatrical release only on 5 November in India. It will not be available to stream on Disney+ on the same day and date as Marvel’s Black Widow.
But the wait is over for you to enjoy it at home! Eternals was released on Hotstar in India on 12 January 2022, around 60 days after theatres. You can watch it in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Eternals is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the 26th movie in the MCU. It is directed by 2021’s Oscar winner Chloé Zhao, which makes it a unique movie in this franchise.
According to Marvel.com: “Eternals features an exciting new team of Super-Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years.
