Loki Season 2 Release Time in India

Marvel Studios is back for their final web series of this year since Echo has shifted to 2024.

Loki season 2 will premiere in India on 6 October 2023 on Disney+ Hotstar. The release time of the episodes will be 6:30 a.m. every Friday. It will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

The finale is scheduled for November 10 in India, the same day The Marvels will be coming out.

There was a bit of confusion after there was a change of release time in the USA, where the release day was moved earlier to Thursday. But due to the time difference, Indian Fans will still get the new episodes on Fridays. The only change is that now we can watch it in the early morning.

While that’s a little good news, some fans are unhappy with no dubbing in Kannada and Malayalam.

We have also got the early reviews for the first 4 episodes are out now, which is quite positive overall. The cinematography is getting praised, with everyone loving the addition of Ke Huy Quan in a significant role. The only negative is that the technical plot might be overwhelming.

By the way, a spin-off of the The Boys series called Gen V is also running on Prime Video in India, that too every Friday.

About the Series

With the second season, Loki becomes the first Marvel Studios property which we can call a recurring web series. Meanwhile, fans are still waiting to see if shows like Moon Knight or Ms. Marvel might return on Disney+ with a new chapter. Let’s wait and see if that happens or not.

Along with Tom Hiddleston as Loki, many more supporting cast members are returning. Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, and Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15. You can also hear Tara Strong as Miss Minutes this time.

And don’t forget that Kang is also here, where the council of Kangs is now here to rule the MCU. Loki will be looking for Jonathon Majors’ villain in this outing, where it is expected that he will appear in at least half episodes of the season.

But a major change is that the first season’s director Kate Herron will not return to make this project. Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who worked on Moon Knight, will direct more of the episodes.

Finally, we have the official synopsis for you (via marvel.com): “Loki Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15, and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous Multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes, and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.”
