Toyshine is a preschool toy brand made in India. They make indoor playthings for kids and toddlers with over 2,000 products in their catalog. They focus on quality items in an affordable range for everyone to play with safe toys without paying a hefty amount of money.
All the sharks appreciated the quality. Even shark Aman and Amit were playing the Mini-Football Table Game, that we found on Amazon (*Affiliate Link):

The ask was for ₹1.25 Crores for only half a single perfect of equity, which he needed to make it no1 toy brand in the country.
With this high valuation, Aman instantly asked about the sales. Toyshine made around ₹45 Crores in FY 2021-22. That was a really impressive number and all sharks congratulated him.
But the market was already crowded, and no one was ready to invest their money. There was no unique differentiation point for them. The sales also plateaued. Anupam advised him to make one great thing that will make the brand name more popular.

Toyshine didn’t get any offers from sharks on the show.
About The Founder
Rohit Khanna is the founder of Toyshine, based in Jalandhar, Punjab. His father had a gifting shop, which is also the parent company, Sunshine Gifts & Stationers.
But he wanted to do something much bigger and expand it nationally!
He started by first selling international toys from his online store, from brands like Lego, Fisher-Price, Barbie, Nerf, Mattel, Hasbro, Hot Wheels, and Disney.
After becoming successful, Rohit thought of making his own toys in India and selling them on online marketplaces. That’s where Toyshine was born.
Other than this, Rohit is a PGDM graduate in Marketing from the Birla Institute of Management Technology.
After Shark Tank Updates
While the founder left with no deal, don’t forget that the national-level brand promotion he will get from the show. Crores of people will watch it and when they will go to the online store to get new toys for gifts, Toyshine will definitely come to their mind.
By the way, other businesses featured in this episode were Medulance, Cakelicious, and Bowled.io.
In the end, we can check the official company product pitch: “Toyshine brings boundless fun with a wide spectrum of toys for every kid and for everyone who’s a kid at heart. All our toys undergo stringent quality checks to ensure that they are absolutely safe for kids to play with. Sticking to our roots of diversity in the products available to shoppers, we are building product lines in such a way that there’s a toy for everyone out there, whether you’re looking for recreation, education, or a combination of both.”
