SID07 Designs is a company that makes innovative products that solve everyday life problems. They had 11 inventions by the founders at the time of the pitch, with 3 of them patented as well. Their revenue was ₹14 lakhs in the last year.

The ask was for ₹47 Lakhs by giving 10% of the company. The entrepreneur wanted the money for more inventions and also needed shark expertise for growing his startup.
But it was maybe not the pitcher’s lucky day. Ashneer drilled him badly (a pun!) by telling him that he can easily get these products from the roadside market in Delhi’s Nehru Place.
Aman and Vineeta also did not believe that these inventions have any worth. Anupam took this to another level and accused that one of the products is just a ‘bad copy-cat’ and his work is ‘a tinkering lab’.
Then came Peyush, who advised him to focus on just one problem, make one product, and then market it. He then offered him a very aggressive deal.
In the end, shark Peyush Bansal closed the deal for ₹25 Lakhs for 75% equity with the rest of the ₹22 lakhs in debt.

Siddarth Gupta is the founder, CEO and Chief Engineer of SID07 Designs. He did his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and MS from RWTH Aachen University, Germany.
Then, he started this company. It was based in Jammu & Kashmir but as we learnt in the episode, he will now shift it to Banglore.
After Shark Tank Updates
While some people will say that it is a bad deal for the entrepreneur, we need to look at this from a different point of view.
We know that he is an inventor and he can only make money by getting royalties from his inventions, then this offer will give him more opportunities. Shark Peyush will help him get better deals for his products and so, he will ultimately earn more bucks.
