Fantastic Four First Steps Release Date in India
The release date for Fantastic Four First Steps in India is 25 July 2025. Watch it in English, Hindi, Tamil or Telugu.

It is the first movie in MCU’s Phase 6, which will also set up their future Avengers movies: Doomsday and Secret Wars. It is also being confirmed that Russo Brothers have directed its post-credits scene, so expect the first appearance by Robert Downey Jr as Doom.
Fantastic Four is directed by Matt Shakman, who has worked with Marvel before on their critically acclaimed Disney+ debut WandaVision. He leans heavily into texture and tone, a modern homage to the 1960s.
They also have an ensemble casr with great actors, starting with Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing.
Ralph Ineson is playing the villain Galactus, along with Julia Garner as Silver Surfer. They nailed it with the selection of actors and director. Maybe that’s why the reception has also been great.
The early reviews are also out, calling it “Fantastic”. People are appreciating its cast, family dynamics, action sequences and how they presented Galactus, one of Marvel’s biggest villains.
Ticket went on sale on 20 July in India. I would recommend going to an IMAX screening to enjoy this spectacle. Fantastic Four First Steps is filmed for IMAX entirely in the expanded 1.90:1 aspect ratio.
Studios have also started adding IMAX 2D shows in India too, after the success Superman had with them, just two weeks ago. I usually prefer IMAX 3D, but that’s another cool option. If you don’t have IMAX, find the best Dolby screen in your town.
When will Marvel’s Fantastic Four come to OTT?
Fantastic Four First Steps will be streaming in India on JioHotstar. Since it is playing in theatres first, it would take at least 2 to 3 weeks for it to drop on OTT. Wait till September or October.

More About The Movie
Even with their big sucess with the MCU, Marvel Studios lacked one of their big properties since its inception. It was Fantastic Four. They were part of 20th Century Fox for quite a long time, where they made 3 films on them and all were bad.
This really damaged the popularity on one of Marvel’s most popular superhero team. So, when Disney acquired 20th Century Fix in 2019, Marvel (owned by Disney) fast-tracked a Fantastic Four film.
The first announcement came in 2021 with Jon Watts as the director, who directed the Tom Holland’s Homecoming trilogy. Then, in 2022, John Krasinski played Mr Fantastic in Doctor Strange 2, but later we found out that it was a one-time thing.
The official casting begin 2023, and then we got our current directors and cast. Shooting began in 2024, and in less than a year, we are getting the final film.
I am excited for it. Whil the initial trailers didn’t made me more hyped, the recent promotions has really elevated my enthusiasm. Let’s see did they finally give a good Fantastic Four flick or not.
