CosIQ is in the business of making safer sunscreen serums. They contain two primary ingredients, especially Vitamin-B and C.

They asked for ₹50 lakhs in exchange for 7.5% of their startup. They want the money for increasing their marketing efforts as well as shark expertise (especially from shark Vineeta).
Shark Vineeta first offered them ₹20 lakhs for 20% equity and another ₹30 lakhs in debt. Then, shark Ashneer upped the stakes by giving them ₹75 lakhs for one-third of the startup.
However, co-founders insisted on having more than one shark, so Anupam and Vineeta joined hands for a combined offer.
In the end, sharks Anupam Mittal and Vineeta Singh closed the deal for 25% equity for ₹50 lakhs.

Angad and Kanika Talwar are co-founders of CosIQ skincare. This is their first ‘baby’ (meaning first business) as they said on the show. Their startup is headquartered in New Delhi.
Kanika Talwar already has experience in the skincare industry and so, she decided to make her own ‘intelligent’ skin care product line. Angad Talwar manages the finance and marketing of the company.

According to a recent promo, the co-founders told the world that their sales went up by 8 times after the episode premiered. This proves that pitching on the TV show has given them some free advertisement.

Now talking about the investors, Vineeta Singh is a great partner for them because she is the CEO and co-founder of SUGAR cosmetics. Anupam, on the other hand, will assist them in operations and branding.
