The founder duo was looking for ₹60 lakhs for a valuation of ₹30 crores. Till the pitch, they have served 3 lakh customers, with sales of ₹4.5 crores in FY 2022-23. Lotus Herbals was one of their initial investors.
Vineeta already knew about the company, since she is already in the same beauty space. She and other sharks also loved the packaging which is both fun and trustable.
However, they will still burn the investment for some time. Sharks were cautious about the less money they had in the bank, which might close the company in just a few months with losses.
Aman asked about their plans but didn’t get a satisfying answer. Sharks were not happy with going offline or adding more items to their catalog. The unclear strategy made everyone stay away from doing a deal.
Anupam advised them to reach out to Lotus Herbals again and Aman recommended hiring a salesperson to focus more on selling more.

Robin Gupta and Prakher Mathur are the founders of Conscious Chemist, based in Gurugram, Haryana. Robin is the CEO of the startup who manages the product development. Prakher looks after the online sales and marketing.
