The total Box-office collection of Avengers Endgame in India was ₹373 Crores. It was the 22nd movie made by Marvel Studios in their Infinity Saga storyline. Avengers 4 was directed by Russo Brothers and produced by Kevin Feige.

This is the 2nd highest collection for any Hollywood movie in India!


It ran in Indian movie theatres for around 2 months, with Housefull shows in the first week in all big cities. 

Also, keep in mind that the movie is shown only on 50% of screens in our country as compared to any other major Hindi blockbuster movie, due to certain standards maintained by Hollywood studios.

This Avengers 4 movie was released in India on April 26, 2019. It made records from the very first day of its release. It opened with a massive ₹53 Crores collection on Friday in India and crossed ₹150 Crores at its opening weekend (first 3 days).


The biggest cities for Avengers Endgame box office in India were Mumbai and Delhi-NCR.


Before this, its prequel Avengers Infinity War box-office collection in India was ₹227 Crores. But Endgame hit 300 Crores just in 10 days.

It became the first Hollywood movie to enter ₹300+ Crores Club in India. This is a huge amount even for a Bollywood movie to achieve, proving how well this movie performed among Indian audiences.

There were also some shows that started even at 4 AM in the morning (or say night). Many people also watched this mega-superhero assemble 3-4 times. That reveals the craze for superheroes among SuperHero Fans of India. 

The success of this movie should also be attributed to the fact that it was released in IMAX, 3D, and 4DX as well.


These different formats accounted for higher ticket prices and higher revenue of Avengers Endgame in India. Indians usually prefer to watch big-budget VFX action movies in 3D or IMAX.

It also received great reviews from both critics and fans. ‘Avengers: Endgame’ was produced by Marvel Studios and is the 22nd Installment in their Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) franchise.

This final film ended the journey of many beloved superheroes like Iron Man, Captain America & Black Widow.

  4. It is the second highest-grossing movie worldwide at the box office.
  5. It also holds the record for the biggest opening weekend collection record in the US.
  6. The biggest Superhero movie worldwide ever.
  7. Fastest movie to cross $1 Billion worldwide in just 5 days.

Overall, Endgame was a SUPERHIT at the Indian box office.

Avengers Endgame’s total Worldwide collection is $2.79 Billion. It made $858 Million in the USA alone, one-third of its overall global collection.

The next three biggest countries where it earned most of its revenue were China, the UK, and South Korea. It made around $629 Million only in China (according to Box-Office Mojo).

It was also the highest-grossing ever in the world for about 2 years, surpassing Avatar(2009). But in March 2021, Avatar regained its number 01 spot beating Endgame, after its re-release.
