Argylle Release Date in India
The first thing to note is that this comedy-action thriller is made by Mathew Vaughn, the director of the Kingsman franchise and Marvel’s X-Men First Class.
The official release date of the Argylle movie is 2 February 2024 in India. It will be available in English and Hindi languages.

Argylle will also be screened in IMAX theatres but with no scenes in expanded aspect ratio. However, the IMAX experience enhances the audio and visual quality of the film.
There is no 3D release for Argylle. Still, there are so many good reasons to watch it on the big screen.
The ensemble cast of Henry Cavill (Man of Steel), Samuel L Jackson (Avengers), Bryce Dallas Howard (Spider-Man 3), Sam Rockwell (Iron Man 2), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Sofia Boutella (Rebel Moon) with John Cena and Dua Lipa is more than we can image.
Remember that Dua Lipa and John Cena have previously shared the screen in the Barbie movie. Other than that, the critics’ reviews are very positive, raving about its action and comedy.
There is no reason why they are not dubbing it Tamil or Telugu for the theatrical release. Maybe it will be done when it comes to streaming.
Agylle Streaming Update
The film was co-produced by Apple Studios when they bought the rights to it and the potential franchise ahead. So, there is no doubt where it will ultimately land.
Argylle will be streaming on Apple TV+ in India and USA. The digital premiere date is yet to be announced.
Apple also had OTT rights for Napoleon and Killers of The Flower Moon. They are becoming one of the most prominent streaming platforms with all this new content.
Is Argylle Rated R?
Argylle has got a PG-13 age rating in the USA for strong language and violence. So, it is not R-rated. The Indian film certification has given it a U/A certificate and it is rated 12A in the UK. So, anyone above the age of 12 or 13 can watch it.
From the trailers, it doesn’t look like it will have anything out of the normal PG-13 movies we have seen.
Is it connected or based on anything?
Argylle is based on a book of the same name written by the fictional character of Elly Conway, who herself is part of the movie.
Director Vaughn explained it will this quote on a podcast, “I love the idea of what would happen if J.K. Rowling met a wizard and was real.”
Along with that, he has hinted that Argylle will be connected to Kingsman movies and some other new film series, creating a new shared universe.
About the Movie
With all these big plans, Argylle is going to be something to look for in 2024. Mathew Vaughn is known for giving great action thrillers like Kick-Ass and the Kingsman franchise. He said it is inspired by 80s films like Die Hard and Lethal Weapons.
