Poo de Cologne is India’s 1st pre-toilet spray which covers the bad odour and spread fragrance around the area. But as mentioned above, the spray is used before using the toilet, instead of used after.

These sprays are made from 100% pure essential oils with no gas, aerosol or synthetic fragrances. They had ₹4.5 lakhs in sales before the pitch.

The ask was for ₹75 lakhs for 5% equity. They wanted to reach more customers, especially in offices, co-living spaces and hotels, as well as needed the shark’s expertise.


While all the sharks were impressed with both the startup and the entrepreneur, all went out because of various reasons: Vineeta said that it is not suitable for the Indian market, while Anupam thinks it is too early to be investable.

In the end, the pitcher left the tank with no deal.

Aditi Talwar Sodhi is the founder of ‘Poo De Cologne’, which is a brand under ‘Essential Happy Marketing’. She completed her PGDM in Marketing from Chetana’s Institute of Management and Research in 2000.

Before starting this business, she already had 20+ years of experience as a brand strategist in big companies like Vodafone, Standard Chartered Bank, Lakme etc. She got this idea from a similar product in Europe.

While she didn’t get a deal, at least their products were Sold Out on Amazon India after the episode aired.

Also, as discussed in the episode, the next level of this product is to make an automatic spraying device that will be attached to the toilet and works automatically with sensors. That will be a more innovative solution to the problem. 

But meanwhile, they are working on a travel pack combo since many of her customers uses it during corporate and honeymoon travels. So, we are waiting for more updates from them.
