The pitchers were looking to raise ₹50 lakhs for 3% part of their startup. The aim is to be the number 1 gummy brand in the country.
But there were a lot of other players in this segment. That’s why Namita was not ready to offer. Still, the entrepreneurs think they can beat all of them because of their better pricing at an affordable range.

About The Founders
Vaibhav Makhija and Sayantani Mandal are the co-founders of What’s Up Wellness. The official company name is Wellness Ville Pvt Ltd, registered in Kolkata, West Bengal.
Vaibhav is a computer engineer from DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology, while Sayantani studied Fashion and Design at NIFT Delhi.
They both met while working at The Man Company where Vaibhav was a product manager and Sayantani was the content strategist. Both then moved to Grofers.
At this time, they saw a need among young India for supplements that can improve their health. That’s where What’s Up Wellness was born. They currently have gummies for sleep, beauty, stress, and muscle growth.

The co-founders were excited to get together with the new investors. Also, the free marketing they got from the live audience must help with the brand recognition they were looking for.
The company also donates to GiveIndia’s mission for the education of girls in schools.
