Peeschute on Shark Tank India
Peeschute was founded in 2018. They appeared on the third episode of the first season.
Here are the key details about the pitch of Peeschute on Shark Tank India:
Business Name | Peeschute |
Founder | Siddhant Tawarawala |
Episode no. | Season 01 Episode 03 |
Ask | ₹75 lakhs for 4% equity |
Accepted Offer | ₹75 lakhs for 6% equity |
Shark | Aman Gupta |

Peeschute makes disposable urine bags for health and travel needs. These are pocket-size paper bags that turn urine from liquid to solid state. This eliminates the need for water, plumbing maintenance and building infrastructure.
The product is environment-friendly and biodegradable as well. It is also unisex, which means can be used by both males and females. It is a good alternative to public washrooms according to the founder.
One more unique thing about the product is that there are no issues of smell and leakage. You can buy their product on Amazon India here (*Affiliate Link):

The ask was for ₹75 lakhs against 4% stakes. Peeschute’s revenue until 2021 is around ₹37 lakhs.
They want the funding to focus on building a completely new toilet infrastructure instead of just making bags. But sharks are concerned about the Fixed cost of this.
They have sold around 2 lakh bags between 2019-2021 in 4 nations worldwide. But the main market for them is still India.
All the sharks were almost ready to invest but they questioned the maintenance requirements of the chambers and the added cost with it.
Ashneer made the first offer but the founder was more interested in onboarding Aman for the deal for marketing and branding. Vineeta and Anupam also made a combined offer.
But in the end, Aman Gupta locked the deal for ₹75 lakhs in exchange for 6% of the company. Aman is the CMO of the BoAt electronic earwear brand.

After Shark Tank Update

Overall, the product has potential in the Indian market where there is a lack of community toilets. Also, patients who have difficulty reliving themselves can take benefit from these bags.
By the way, other startups in this episode are qZense Labs & NOCD drinks.
The official company product pitch is “Peeschute is an innovative and patented unisexual pocket toilet which can be used to urinate when attending the nature’s call is difficult. It turns solid immediately. No leak, No odour, No Mess!”.
