Nabhi Sutra makes ayurvedic oils for belly buttons! That’s right, this is a one-of-a-kind unique product we have seen on the show. They claim that this oil will help you with joint pains, digestion, hair growth, and some other common health problems.
These products are also AYUSH and FDA-approved. One of their most selling items is Belly Button Oil for Joint Pain Relief (15ml), available on Amazon (*Affiliate Link):

The pitchers were looking to get ₹60 lakhs in return for 3% stakes in their business.
First, the sharks asked some questions about the efficiency of the product and the market size. Aman even pointed out that the brand name is limiting it.
The revenue for FY 2022-23 was ₹4.5 crores, the bulk of it comes from their website. However, half of it is going on marketing. So, Peyush advised them to focus on one product first to separate themselves from the growing competition.
Vineeta thought the product price was too high and they needed to make it more affordable. Anupam was out also because of the same reasons.

About The Founders
Swati Vakharia is the founder of Nabhi Sutra ayurvedic oils. Vaibhav Shah is the other co-founder.
Swati did an MBA from L.J Institute Of Management Studies and then worked in IT, SEO, and Web Development for 15 years. During this time, she became a mother and faced hair issues.
She only wanted to use natural products so, took some advice from his cousin who was an M.D in Ayurveda Doctor.
This gave a new beginning to her life, and she started formulating new oils for her health problems. With positive results, she made it into a business, Nabhi Sutra.
After Shark Tank Updates
It’s great to see that even though they didn’t get a deal, they were happy to get the tips they got from the sharks. In a blog about their Shark Tank experience, they seemed very happy with the new learnings.
With the new awareness after the pitch aired, the orders came in and they offered a 20% discount for a limited time.
In January 2024, it was reported that they are looking to expand to international markets.
By the way, other businesses featured in this episode were Aretto Kids Shoes and Kalakaram Art & Craft Kits.
Finally, here is the official company pitch: “Nabhi Sutra is based in Vadodara, India and its primary objective is to endorse genuine products and encourage natural treatment. We aim to create fine quality, pure, and natural oils as per Ayurvedic practices and authentic guidelines. Through Nabhi Sutra, We aspire to alter the contemporary method of treatment and sustain the conventional and age-old method of natural treatment.”
