AI Kavach on Shark Tank India
Did you experience any fraud calls or messages and want to save yourself from it, then AI Kavach is for you.
Here are the key details about their pitch on Shark Tank:
Name | AI Kavach |
Founder | Pratyusha Vemuri Venkata |
Episode | Season 3 Epoisode 5 |
Ask | ₹50 Lakhs for 1.25% Equity |
Deal | ₹1 Crore for 5% Equity |
Sharks | Peyush Bansal, Aman Gupta |
Status | In-business |
AI Kavach is an AI solution to save you from fraud online with real-time detection. It will alert you if you are getting fraud calls/messages, accessing malicious websites, or downloading apps that are asking for sensitive information
The product was designed for a normal user, but the plans were to expand to safeguard digital transactions and serve businesses via a B2B model. Their AI algorithm is also patented, and trained over millions of data.
The ask was for ₹50 lakhs in return for 1.25% shares. The product was launched just 2 months before the pitch on the show. It had gained some subscribers.
Aman was the first to offer the money for 4% where he can help with all the operations in India.
Radhika and Ritesh thought the business was too early and the entrepreneur needed to work on its customer base well before moving forward, so they were out this time. Vineeta advised to go with Aman.
But there was some competition from Peyush. He wanted to go with both B2B and B2C models to train the AI better and get this technology to a whole new level. He offered exactly what the pitcher was looking for.
This spiraled into some rough comments by Aman. He tried to take a dig at Peyush by saying that he is better suited for a tech product, has many connections in the industry, and spends on R&D too much.
So, Aman then matched the offer. However, the pitcher then gave a very generous offer of doubling the equity. She thought that both their expertise would greatly benefit the company.
