When will Jurassic World Rebirth release in India?
The official release date for the Jurassic World Rebirth movie is 4 July 2025. It will be available in 4 languages in India: English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Rebirth is coming early in the USA on Wednesday (2 July), but Indian fans have to wait for the usual Friday. Try to avoid spoilers if you are big nerd for this universe.
This new story starts 5 years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion. Dinosaurs are living peacefully on an island, but the humans now want their DNA to make a life-saving Drug. (It’s always humans disturbing the peaceful animals.)
It’s been 32 years since dinosaurs first roared on the big screen. Rebirth brings a new chapter to the saga with familiar danger but new faces. Scarlett Johansson is now the new lead, accompanied by Mahershala Ali and Jonathon Bailey.
The trailers promise more horror and dark themes, set in a smaller setup with more intensity. However, the early reviews came out very mixed. While this is true for all Jurassic movies except for the first one, it is still not a positive thing.
Jurassic flicks are not loved by the critics. Some are saying Rebirth is better than the last 3 films, but despite that, it doesn’t add anything meaningful to this universe.
But there is a major audience for these dinosaurs, especially children, who surely will be there to watch it in a movie theatre.
OTT update: when and which platform?
Jurassic World Rebirth is produced by Universal Pictures, and they will include this movie on their Peacock streaming service. However, Peacock is not available in India because Universal partnered with Reliance-backed Jio to distribute its library in India.
The official OTT platform of Jurassic World Rebirth for India is JioHotstar.
The actual streaming premiere date is yet to be announced, since it will have a decent theatrical run. You have to wait for at least September or October.

Will it be in 3D or IMAX?
Jurassic World Rebirth will have shows in 3D format, but not in IMAX.
While no previous Jurassic movies have ever been shot with IMAX, they all had IMAX screenings. So, this is quite strange.
While I would have expected every major IP in Hollywood to have some partnership with IMAX, or even have scenes in their expanded aspect ratio, Jurassic World is an outlier. This might dent their box office significantly, as many cinephiles prefer IMAX over anything.
So, the other premium options you have to enjoy Rebirth in the cinema are 3D and 4DX. Try to find a good 3D theatre with Dolby sound to get the best experience.
F1 will have the IMAX screens for Rebirth’s release week, until Superman takes over next week, on 11 July. We are also getting Marvel’s Fantastic Four this month.
Mega Premiere help in Jaipur, India
Jurassic Park holds a special place among hollywood fans in India. Why? Because it was the first hollywood film to get dubbed in Hindi. Their films earned crores here. So, to hype up the excitement, the studio decided to do something big.
Jurassic World Rebirth will have a special premiere held at Raj Mandir Cinema (Jaipur) on 3 July 2025. This will be the first time a special screening of a Hollywood film will happen in the Hindi language.
Universal Pictures India, in partnership with Warner Bros Discovery India, is organising the event. Many media personnel and digital social media stars, including Ashish Chanchalani, are invited.
More About the Movie
While not too technically sound, the Jurassic Park franchise is loved by most people online. The last Jurassic World trilogy has a great track record of each film surpassing $1 billion at the global box office. So, there was no doubt that the studio would try to make a new one as soon as possible.
The task to launch this new beginning is given to Gareth Edwards, with David Koepp returning to write the script. Koepp wrote the first Jurassic Park movie in 1993 as well as the sequel, The Lost World.
Koepp talked about how this was an story idea from the OG director Steven Speilberg, to recreate the same magic from the 1st installment. Let’s see if it is even near that as well or not.
Finally, here is the official synopsis for the film: “Jurassic World Rebirth is an action-packed new chapter that sees an extraction team race to the most dangerous place on Earth, an island research facility for the original Jurassic Park, inhabited by the worst of the worst that were left behind.”
