Winston India is a high-quality personal care brand. They are bringing salon-level women’s body trimmers and hair straighteners to the Indian market. They also have facial cleansers and blackhead remover and scalp massagers.

The Adlakha couple asked for ₹1 crore in exchange for a 4% stake in their company. Their FY 2021-22 sales were ₹1.2 crores and their projection for FY 2022-23 was ₹6 crores.

They have around 10 products in their catalog, which are Smart, Sturdy & Super Easy. All the electronic items are sourced from China.

Here is a short video of their pitch:

Namita was not happy with the efficiency of the face mask, so she was already out. Vineeta was also doubtful about the premium prices but she and Anupam liked the design. Both gave a combined offer for ₹10 crores valuation.

Aman was also really interested because of the same business model (as he has with boAt). He was also impressed with how the co-founders were focused on brand building. But he had a conflict of interest (both in the electronics sector), so he had to go out.

In the end, sharks Anupam Mittal and Vineeta Singh closed the deal with Winston India for ₹1 crore for 10% equity.
